Braving the late October sunshine and beautiful Boston coastline, Team NeuEon, donning the official Mustache Mafia signature T-shirts and mustaches, had another banner year fundraising for the ALS Foundation.

For the fourth year in a row, NeuEon participated in the ALS Foundation’s Massachusetts Chapter Walk to Defeat ALS®, raising over $30,000 this year alone, to surpass the $100,000 mark since starting with the charity. Co-workers, family, friends, babies and pets all joined to support a great cause.

The Walk to Defeat ALS® is an opportunity to bring hope to people living with ALS, to raise money for a cure, and to come together for something we all care about. For those of you who don’t know what ALS is, Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig’s Disease), is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord. Eventually, people with ALS lose the ability to initiate and control muscle movement, which often leads to total paralysis and death within two to five years of diagnosis. The ALS Foundation works tirelessly to continue to the fight to eradicate this debilitating disease.

NeuEon is committed to giving back to our community and to help those in need. We are proud and honored to continue to support such a worthy cause as The Walk to Defeat ALS® and the ALS Association of Massachusetts. If you are interested in participating in any way, please contact us or visit the ALS Association of Massachusetts website.
